1-on-1 Meeting

About this template

The most important tool in your arsenal as a manager will be regular 1-on-1 meetings. Use them to catch up personally, discuss work-related triumphs and challenges, ensure that people are clear on priorities and feel secure in their place on the team, and generally keep a finger on the pulse of how your team is functioning.

Fill out this agenda template and share it with the person with whom you've planned a 1-on-1 meeting. It'll give the person time to prepare and will guide the conversation so that it stays productive and on-topic.

Tip: After sharing this project with the right person, you can also add a recurring task like “Schedule a 1-on-1 meeting with John every other Monday” to ensure a repeating meetup.
